In the past, Fiona has treated Guinea pigs, pet rats, rabbits, ferrets, kangaroos, wallabies, pigs, sheep, goats, cattle and alpacas (to name a few!). However, by far the most common patients, along with horses, are dogs and cats.
Amongst the dog population seen, there are dogs for showing or breeding. There are assistance dogs, working dogs, dogs that enjoy agility, flyball, dance, herding and retrieving, and there are dogs that are just part of the family.
Amongst the cat population seen, there are cats for showing or breeding…and there are cats that are just the head of the family!
Fiona treats all ages, from puppies/kittens (birth trauma, sat on by mum, dropped) to the elderly (arthritis, weak backs, stiff back legs, difficulty getting up). Chiropractic can also assist in the management of pets with dysplasias (hip/elbow), pets that have been injured and pets that are compensating post-surgery, eg following cruciate, patella luxation or dysplasia surgery.
